Plain Tales from the Hills by Rudyard Kipling

First published in the year 1888, the present book ‘Plain Tales from the Hills’ is the first collection of short stories by the famous author Rudyard Kipling. Most of the stories collected in this volume are set in Shimla, India, which used to be the “summer capital of the British Raj” during the hot weather.
