Maid Marian  by Thomas Love Peacock

First published in the year 1822, the present historical fiction novel ‘Maid Marian’ was written by one of the Romantic era novelists Thomas Love Peacock. Although he had written written all but three chapters of the novel by 1818, Peacock was recruited to the East India Company in 1819, where his official duties delayed the completion and publication of the novella until 1822.
