Larry Page by Kalyani Mookherji

Born as Lawrence Page on March 26, 1973, in East Lansing, Michigan, the future Internet whiz is one of two children to Carl Vincent and Gloria Page. Both his parents were computer engineers themselves – his father was one of the earliest researchers and Ph.D holders in computer science as well as a pioneer in the field of artificial intelligence. Likewise Larry’s mother taught computer programming at Lyman Briggs College at Michigan State University.
