Marmion: A Tale of Flodden Field in Six Cantos’ is an epic poem by the renowned novelist Sir Walter Scott. It was first published in the year 1808. This epic poetry is about the Battle of Flodden that took place in 1513. It is considered to be his second major work and carries his genius at historical drama in a different form which is poetry instead of novel.
